When I mentioned the basic premise of this book to a friend, that vampires were implicated in the crucifixion of Jesus, I was told the idea verged on blasphemy. I had to laugh. This is in no way a blasphemous book. Although not specifically religious in tone and not what I'd consider Christian fiction, it certainly respects Jesus. It's also an interesting and exciting adventure. I certainly enjoyed it. One interesting thing to me is that I’ve also written several stories involving vampires and Christianity, and a couple that specifically involve vampires and Jesus. These are found in my collection Midnight in Rosary.
