Very powerful account of what it might have been like in the round-up in Paris. Heart-wrenching story.

I picked this book up looking for some fun beach-style reading. I did not expect to find a history lesson on 16th century India. I loved the tone of the story and the characters. I was surprised that it took the entire book for our main characters to finally get married, but it left a lot of time for learning about the inner workings of the Indian court. Although not a "quick read" I never got bored with the story and the characters. I can't wait to get on to the sequel!

Wow. This book was fantastic! I had my doubts due to the fact that it was a Meg Cabot book but she truly surprised me. I really liked it. definitely going to get Overbite ASAP.
