Excellent! Loved the development of the relationship between Gillian and Adrian; and it was great to meet the other members of the Brown family again. Brilliant writing & hot, hot, hot... Love it and Lauren Dane.
It was something of a heart-stopping shock to me that I liked this book. I generally find Dickins tedious and dull, but this book was anything but. First, I have a soft spot for stories set in Revolutionary France. It was a time of absolutly insanity and passion, and pretty much anything you do with it is going to be good (think "The Scarlett Pimpernel"). Secondy, the characters were actually interesting - I really couldn't get over the surprise of that. Overall it's a pretty gripping novel and I would recommend it.
These books get increasingly more terrible as they go on. Not very encouraging when the first book is only sort of good.
