I enjoyed reading about Leigh's experience with having service dogs. In fact, it's pretty amazing how engaged the dogs get to their jobs. I thought the dialogue in the book was a bit contrived...I'm sure she didn't remember the exact words in her conversations but still, the conversations seemed a bit too "perfect" and "polished"-- not sure how to describe it. That kind of took away from the book for me, but overall it was great to learn about how service dogs can change a person's life. Not to mention the impacts of therapy dogs were described as well (though there wasn't actually mention of therapy dogs - her dog just happened to be that way for some people).
