The main character Katniss Everdeen who has become the mockingbird defeats the Capitol but not after losing many that she loves including her sister Prim. I did not find this book as captivating as the first two, and found the adventure too gruesome to fully enjoy.

This book looks really stupid on the outside but on the inside it is a fantastic book!

I am not at all a religious person. Far from it, in fact, but something about the tone of this book spoke to me. It is not at all preachy or "black and white, right and wrong" or trying to sell something like most works on faith/religion, etc. Read it with an open mind. It didn't convert me or cause me to be born again but it made me think.
