My friend Lindsay and I were recently talking about how wrong the modern movie versions of Dracula have been. Call me old-fashioned, but I find the character from the book not only more interesting than the blook-sucking Casanovas of the screen, but much, much more frightening. He's menancing, always just in the shadows, and and it's much more possible to understand the terror he instills in the rest of the characters. I'm not usually big on books in letter form, but I think it works here.
i loved this book when i was a freshman in high school.
