I enjoyed this book. I love how the author told the story of the book from each person's point of view. It was very touching and kept me intrigued.

While a tough book to read in spots, as it covers the great hunger that caused so many Irish to leave Ireland, The Keeners is really a story of a woman determined to survive. It's well written, and easy to read.
